I felt like I did adequate research before I tried the place. The prices are fine except you have to pay an $8 parking fee minimum. The burger was not even warm and the bun was dry. Maybe if I had six beers first it would have been delicious. Fries were good and freshly cooked. I would have loved the burger to be fresh as well. Not the cleanest place. I guess you can expect that from a bar. Since I don't go to bars, I really don't know. The service was great.

I really enjoyed my experience at Huey's. From the moment I walked into the bar, I felt welcomed and appreciated. As I don't eat meat, I really appreciated the fact that you could change any meat burger to a black bean or veggie burger. The atmosphere was awesome and unlike any bar I'd ever been to before (in a good way) Drinks were good, food was delicious and I didn't feel rushed. Would highly recommend.

my first time being in Memphis and Huey’s itself makes me want to go back. I loved the sausage and cheese plate. the back of the menu tells the story of Huey’s and has some funny little “fun facts” such as what’s going on with all the toothpicks in the ceiling. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my experience here. the food, the atmosphere, the prices, the hospitality, the location, everything. I don’t remember my servers name but service was amazing! I’ll definitely be back just for Huey’s!

Even in the middle of Beale Street Music Festival, a late Sunday lunch and a packed restaurant, our wait time wasn't excessive. Serving times were fast and the food was incredible. My friend was happy with her Texas Toast Burger with a medium-well done Patty and I enjoyed the Old Tyme A1 burger cooked medium-rare. Safe to say it was a monster, however with all the walking around we were equally up to the challenge. The Fries and Onion Rings we're freshly made and very filling as well. We also indulged in some screwdrivers as part of the happy hour specials. Overall, it was a fantastic meal.

Look the place isn't bad. Service was good and we got in fairly quick. But it just seemed like you were paying for the experience of eating at a location instead of what it's worth. The steak strips were great but was it worth the money? Meh. Kind of but not really. If you're going to say "hey I went to Huey's in Memphis" then it's worth it. But if you need a place for good pricing that matches the food ,try somewhere else. That's why I'm rating a 4 out of 5 instead of a 2. They have a name, a history, and great location. But other than that it's pub food at downtown pricing.
